Mouse Trap Car TEST DAY!

During Class on Thursday  Ty,Joe and myself all got together like the rest of the class , we all went into our groups, and all to a different area of the school to test our cars and make sure they are working right and if they were not working right we had time to fix them so that they were running the way we wanted . and our group was pretty satisfied with the way our mouse trap car was working and how far it was going!

To sum up how Thursday went and how the mouse trap car preformed, I'd say it is working pretty good almost better than expected. and that is able to duplicate run after run consistently close to the one run before it is reliable. and with repeated use it is standing up pretty well to all the test runs we did the only thing is the string could maybe a little stronger so the chance of breaking isn't there but that one of two concerns we have. the only other concern is that it does not always travel straight it has a little bit of a curve , but with the curve in the travel path is still goes pretty far. the farthest that it has gone is about 26-27m and after that it kinda ran into a wall but our distance was pretty consistent and it really only varied about 2 meters at the most , so lets just hope that it goes that far come competition day. The mouse trap car that our group has designed is very easy to work, not much to do to set it up so it is ready to go. all that you have to do is wind up the string and set the trap, and your ready to roll.
